Go-live checklist

Going live has two steps: you complete the sandbox sign-off with your sandbox key, then tell your Pathfndr account manager, who issues your live key (tp_live_...).

1. Sandbox sign-off

  • Search works for every transfer type you plan to sell, including empty results and errors[] entries.
  • You recheck immediately before book, and show the customer any price change.
  • You store the full supplier_reference (and ideally the full book response) for every booking.
  • You can show booking details and render your own voucher from them.
  • You can cancel, and you handle cancellation_pending.
  • Round trips are booked and cancelled leg by leg.
  • Every book has a unique internal_reference; a retry of the same booking re-sends the identical request.
  • You handle book status: unknown and 409 duplicate_booking (Idempotency & retries).
  • You log the X-Request-Id of every call and handle 429 with Retry-After.
  • Prices are displayed in price.currency (always the currency you searched with).
  • You ran the sandbox test scenarios.
  • Every test booking has been cancelled.

2. Switching to live

  • You have your live key and store it in a secrets manager (never in code or logs).
  • Your live configuration uses https://transfers.pathfndr.io with the live key, and your sandbox configuration keeps https://transfers-sandbox.pathfndr.io with the sandbox key (a key on the wrong environment answers 401).
  • Your team knows that every live booking is real and is charged according to your agreement and the provider's cancellation policy.
  • You know how to reach us: Support.
